Business Development Representative- Wyndham Vacation Rentals

Seek and identify prospective quality/targeted vacation rental inventory for Wyndham Vacation rentals and pursue homeowners with approved marketing materials and presentation of rental management program. Serves as initial contact for prospective homeowners considering Wyndham Vacation Rentals management program. Serves as Wyndham Vacation Rentals liaison to local real estate companies/agents to establish prospective referrals.
+ Perform new unit recruitment efforts with objective of increasing quality/targeted vacation rental inventory for Wyndham Vacation Rentals, including attendance at local chamber and real estate functions/events, Company sponsored events, marketing events, local community events, festivals and activities, etc.
+ Maintain regular communication with Area General Manager regarding prospective targets/leads, and works closely with them in development and distribution of solicitation materials/information to targeted prospective homeowners.
+ Develop and maintain relationships and ongoing communication, with local real estate companies and agents to foster positive working relationships and garner prospective rental program referrals.
+ Maintain a broad understanding of rental operations, property management, reservations policies/procedures, etc., in order to effectively communicate such information to prospective homeowners.
+ Coordinate presentation and execution of Wyndham Vacation Rentals management agreement with new owners and ensure timely and complete uploading of new unit data, pictures, etc. to Wyndham Vacation Rentals property management system.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED required. College degree and/or combination of some college and/or equivalent related experience managing property operations and/or Real Estate Sales strongly preferred.
Experience:
+ Minimum 2 years property management and/or Real Estate Sales experience strongly preferred.
+ Hospitality operations experience preferred.
+ Must possess strong sales skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and very confident.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
