Warehouse Labor Recycle Trash Associate
Seeking motivated General Labor Recycle Trash Associate to perform light industrial functions at distribution facility in Davenport, FL.
Position
Summary:
all duties related to maintaining the internal and external appearance of the building which includes; interior housekeeping, maintaining the floors, emptying trash and recycling.
Basic Function and scope of responsibility:
o Maintains a clean work area by removing empty pallets, sweeping and cleaning up boxes and other debris.
o Collecting trash and processing it in the compactor, baler, or foam densifier.
o Interior housekeeping including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, etc.
o Collecting paper, plastic, cardboard, and other recyclable items.
o Trash and recycling removal.
o Floor maintenance; routine sweeping, vacuuming, shampooing, waxing, sealing, etc.
o Other duties assigned.
o High School diploma or G.E.D.
o Ability to follow directions and work independently.
o Ability to work well with others in a team oriented environment
Skills:
Reading: Reads and comprehend non-complex written material to include rules, direction, methods and polices/ procedure
Writing: Write in the form of noncomplex sentence with proper punctuation, normal word order, and simplistic grammar to complete form and prepare simple written pieces to include comments, statement and explanations.
Mathematical: Perform basic arithmetic which involves addition and subtraction to compute measurements and perform operations involving all American monetary units.
Required Other: Enter data into a computer terminal; record and/ or verify date; work on several tasks at one time; understand and carry out oral instruction, memorize and retain information/ instruction; prioritize work assignments; maintain working relationships with co-worker; concentrate and pay close attention to detail; function with a limited amount of supervision, identify and troubleshoot problems and recommend solution; work as a member of team; think clearly and make decisions under regular o constant time deadline; function under intense time pressure; work a flexible work schedule that may include evenings weekends, and holidays; be in attendance at work location on a regular basis; work extended hours during retail season and special events.

hours of work will be 9 am - 4:30 pm to start
available from 8 am - 5 pm. The scheduled shift to start will be 10 am - 4:30Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
