Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents - Handle incoming calls - Check guests in/out of hotel verifying information and completing necessary paperwork - Take/make reservations over the phone, over fax and from in person guests - Assist with other projects and/or departments as needed.
- Utilize Concerto, Opera and other software applications to complete tasks - Flexibility required ( this position may require filing in on various shifts.
Preference will be given to individuals that are able to work overnight if needed).
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a hotel or similar environment is preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records - Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of documents (folios, registration cards, etc.
) Attention to detail is required.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously - Experience in customer service positions, outgoing and positive attitude necessary As a Clerk, you will play a vital role in providing customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel.
Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the overall efficiency of our team.
