Store clerks at 7-Eleven provide a great path for career-minded individuals or steady work for part-time job hunters interested in the customer service industry.
The store clerk position represents the face of the company for customers and offers exceptional customer service with prompt, efficient, and courteous service.
Additional Responsibilities Employees maintain daily operations to keep 7-Eleven stores operating smoothly.
Responsibilities include keeping a clean, safe environment for patrons, ringing customer purchases using electronic cash registers, and giving correct change.
Additional duties consist of forecasting, ordering, and stocking merchandise throughout the store.
Hiring Requirements, Skills, and Abilities Basic requirements for hiring consideration include a high school diploma or equivalent, outstanding communication skills, mathematical ability, and team-oriented values to help the store operate at maximum efficiency.
The store clerk must possess the ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift, as well as lifting items ranging from 1 to 50lbs.
