Full Time You Will Be Responsible For:
Embedded in the campuses with clients across Florida Hospital, the specialist provides strategic-thought partnerships with the manager of internal communications, interacting directly with campus leadership to help develop and execute division-wide holistic strategic communication plans that consider internal and external audiences.
Develop and enhance relationships with key leaders, including the CEO, on the campuses where the specialist provides public affairs counsel.
Assists the planning and execution of public affairs content for internal events on campus and with clients as needed.
Bridges the gap between campus/client leadership and front-line staff, executing action plans and messaging covering a multitude of campus and system goals shared across a variety of internal vehicles.
Actively seeks campus and client-based content for internal and external news stories through meetings with administration, physicians and front-line employees.
Content is always relevant, accurate, and timely.
Qualifications What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, English, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field AND Two or more years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, communication, information systems, or journalism with proven results Video experience Experience managing content for events EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Experience designing and managing website content 1-3 years of health care and/or advertising experience Video on- and off-camera experience Experience managing event activation LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Summary:
The specialist is directly responsible for the tactical execution of internal communication.
The specialist also provides strategic thought partnership to the manager of internal communications, with insight into the unique communication needs of campuses and clients.
The specialist regularly works with campus-based leadership, including the campus CEO, to proactively identify both communications needs and potential public affairs issues.
Primary responsibility includes managing and elevating employee communications initiatives, including, but not limited to regular written communication, content for Florida Hospital's internal web portal, and capturing, editing, producing video for use internally and externally.
The specialist also writes content for internal collateral and helps the manager coordinate production of materials with our creative design department.
The specialist actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
